DIE ZEIT records the highest subscription circulation in its history
DIE ZEIT continues its growth trajectory and, according to IVW II/2025, has reached the highest number of subscribers in its history. Subscription circulation now stands at 504,404 copies, representing an increase of 6% year on year (+28,731 copies). Of these, 281,186 are digital subscriptions.
Total sales have risen to 633,352 copies, an increase of 5.3% (+31,866 copies) compared with the same quarter last year. In paid circulation – comprising subscriptions and single-copy sales – DIE ZEIT has, for the first time, claimed the leading position in the quality newspaper segment, with 550,501 copies sold.
Rainer Esser, CEO of the ZEIT Publishing Group, said:
