Founded in 1988, the company has been part of the Georg von Holtzbrinck Publishing Group since 2001. Macmillan Audio produces cassettes, CDs and materials for digital consumption from works of fiction and nonfiction.
Top quality books from the Holtzbrinck companies Farrar, Straus and Giroux, Henry Holt, Picador, St. Martin’s Press and Tor Books are all converted into tape/CD. Books from other publishers outside the Holtzbrinck Group are also recorded for audio cassette and CD.
